Sharri Murchison, a passionate and dedicated reading tutor, provides services at The Language Group bringing over a decade of experience helping students unlock the power of reading. Sharri earned her undergraduate degree from University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey and her Graduate degree from Purdue University. Sharri brings her extensive expertise and commitment to helping students achieve literacy success as a Reading Specialist at The Language Group. She holds a Dyslexia Endorsement and has completed the Comprehensive Orton-Gillingham Plus Training, as well as Fluency, Vocabulary and Comprehension training. Sharri is trained in both the Wilson reading system and the LindaMood Bell Visualizing and Verbalizing reading comprehension coursework.

Sharri’s goal is to inspire students to become lifelong readers and learners equipped with the skills and confidence to excel in any area of life. She is a dedicated reading tutor with a passion for literacy and a strong background in education. After five years in the classroom, Sharri transitioned into the role of MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) Coordinator in the Greater Atlanta area, where she supported students at various levels of need. Her approach combines a deep understanding of literacy development with personalized strategies tailored to each student's needs. When families are looking to improve reading comprehension, build fluency, or develop a love for books, she’s here to guide them every step of the way. Working with students of all ages and reading levels, from early readers to adult learners, Sharri focuses on creating a supportive and engaging environment during her sessions that foster confidence and success.
